Gramercy Tavern x Juan Jose Cuevas - 11.5.17

Gramercy Tavern hosted a special tasting dinner on November 5, 2017, with one of Puerto Rico’s most celebrated chefs, to support the reconstruction efforts in Puerto Rico. Chef Michael Anthony of Gramercy Tavern was joined by Chef Juan Jose Cuevas of San Juan’s Restaurant 1919 for a collaborative six course tasting menu with wine pairings.

The dinner benefitted Regrow Puerto Rico, a collaboration with Visit Rico, which is distributing $1,500 for 3 consecutive months to 100 agro-ecological farmers and artisan food producers to help them rebuild after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico’s agriculture industry.
 
Gramercy Tavern donated $100 per ticket sold to Regrow Puerto Rico. Guests had the opportunity to make a matching contribution as well.
